Man she's a bad Mum!!!
Ok let's all just take a moment to think about how many times a day we look at another Mums and pass judgment. 1 time? 2 times? 3? 4? 5? ...... I caught myself looking at another Mum yesterday and thinking to myself man she shouldn't be doing that , then my mind went to "I would never do that" and so on. As I was doing it I stopped myself because really who am I to pass any judgment? Right, like seriously! My kids sometimes have noodles for dinner, I don't always maintain the washing (I spend the time moving the house around 100 times a day 😂) ( come on you know you do it aswell 😉) I get angry and yes I yell no matter how hard I try to stop myself , I constantly fall short of the type of Mum us Mums judge others to be.
Why cant cant we give ourselves the right to make mistakes and then be there to pick each other up and support each other?
I love the Quote by Matthew Arnold that reads ,
"If ever there comes a time when the women of the world come together purely and simply for the benefit of (hu)mankind, it will be a force such as the world has never seen."
Wow what an incredible thought! If we were to stand together, encourage each other, pull each other up instead of silently judging and tearing each other down how much would that alone change our world?
Mothers are born to be strong, we are born to never give up no matter how painful (child birth anyone 😱 ) how exhausting, how draining, how emotionaly out of control life gets. Whether we face amazing happiness or incredible hurt or sadness. WE ARE STRONG. I experienced this more then ever over this past year. I was amazed at how I could have no sleep and have my heart feel like it was being pulled out of my chest and still I kept going! I grew! I found strength I didn't know I had!
I encourage you while pleading with you, lets switch off the ads that tell us all the things we are doing wrong, let give advice only when asked for, let's not judge our fellow Mums instead let's create a movement that says no matter what we stand together!
Are you with me? Ok, Let's do this. On all our photos or post let's #MUMSSTANDSTRONG . Weather it is a moment you did this motherhood thing like a boss or you fell short let's own our triumphs and mistakes so we can spread a culture of encouragement.
